Olympia 2021, 100-meter finals: Italian Jacobs sensational Olympic champion
The Italian Sprinter Lamont Marcell Jacobs has become sensational Olympic champion over 100 m and thus successors of Usain Bolt. The 26-year-old prevailed on Sunday in the final of Tokyo with the European Card of 9.80 seconds before Fred Kerley from the USA (9.84) and Canadian Andre de Grasse (9.89). Jacobs, who was born in El Paso / Texas as the son of an Italian mother and came to Italy as a child, had already run in the semifinals in 9.84 seconds European Cardord.
