Krafton Inc. acquires the developers of subnautica and natural selection

Krafton Inc. is a company that strives to create immersive worlds through video games, their favorite support, and has done successfully through various titles such as Pugb: BattleGounds, a premium Royal Battle title, so That Tera and Elyon, who are both mmorpg.. The Company intends to continue its plans and officially announced the acquisition of Unknown Worlds, the development team behind Subnautica and Natural Selection. This decision is based on the intention of the company to invest in foreground talents that will innovate and produce quality video games. Unknown Worlds becomes Krafton s sixth independent studio.

Ch Kim, CEO of Krafton, welcomed the acquisition, declaring: Unknown Worlds are incredibly competent and passionate developers with an unparalleled donation for the creativity and experience proven in the creation of successful worlds led by the players... Charlie Cleveland, CEO of Unknown Worlds, is enthusiastic for the future, declaring: Subnautica and Pubg both started humbly and have evolved successfully with constant iterations and comments. We want to bring new games on the world stage - and with Krafton, we get closer to a big step. We really look forward to our future together.

The press release confirmed UNKNOWN Worlds would retain its employee and management structure and that there are continuous updates for subnautica and subnautica: Below Zero. The company also confirmed UNKNOWN Worlds work on a game defining the genre which should go out in the current of 2022.
