If you read these lines, the Games Year 2022 has already begun (if only scarce). That says at least the calendar. Exciting new releases, however, is looking for a vain. But do not worry! Already February has more potential gaming highlights to offer when we can play in the next half year, and that was the second of twelve months.

In the following, we take a look at the most important games announced for 2022, which could be interesting for all toughies and MORE readers (i.e. RPGs, online games, games with fantasy or SCIFI setting). The beginning make the MMO Oldies:

The Elder Scrolls Online

Maybe it has already taken place, the traditional revelation of event, which tells us Matt Furor and his team, which will be in 2022 in The Elder Scrolls online. At the time of printing, we only know: Three LCS and a chapter should also appear in the New Year, which should appear in the quarter clock. Final Fantasy 14

And who has been Final Fantasy 14 for some time, the knows: The simple updates are always plump filled with continuity for the main scenario, new dungeons, RAID instances and other features.

First, SQUARE needs to deliver content that belong to the End Walker Launch package. With Patch 6.0.1, the new Raid Pandæmonium has already opened its doors, and there were numerous bug fixes. With 6.0.5, the developers deliver the epic difficulty level and the Treasure Card Dungeon Exploration in January. The fresh PVP content Crystal Conflict should finally follow with patch 6.1. Everything else will certainly be announced with the next Liveries of Director and Producer Naomi Yeshiva.

Lost Ark

The Action RPG with MMO impact from Delegate rings on the 11th of the hot February. We were able to play Lost Ark extensively during the last closed-beta phase and one can already promise you now: You have never been so powerful and satisfying through opponents in a game with isometric perspective. This is reminiscent of his dynamics and strength strongly on Black Desert and makes a lot of fun.

Otherwise, the hack & slay left a good impression, but we could scratch only on the surface during the test due to the enormous circumference. Raids, Housing, Thick world bosses, crafting, seafaring — we have not seen much at all. In addition, we are looking forward to what ultimately the final version of the Ingame-Shop will look, finally the developers want to make money with their Free2Play title.

SW TOR: Legacy of the Sith

Like Lost Ark, the new extension for Star Wars: The Old Republic originally appeared last year. So it should be the 15th of February 2022, and the legacy of the Sith has a lot to offer. The continuation of history around Darth Magus and the revelation of his ultimate plan, for example. The hunt for the Sith leads us to the stormy water planet Canaan as well as to the ruins of a Sith fortress on ELM.

There we also expect a new dungeon, in addition, with the R-4 anomaly a new operation comes into play. Also exciting: the developers introduce the fighting styles, thanks to which we can rely on playing that have so far only other classes available. Our active SW TOR player Tanja has exactly two days to play along the Sith legacy. Horizon Forbidden West

Sometimes a game can completely change the perception of a studio. Just take guerrilla games that were more than one decade long with the Okayen Shooter Series Kill zone. In March 2017, the Dutch then suddenly supplied with Horizon Zero Dawn one of the strongest PlayStation exclusive titles (now available for PC) of recent years. We also liked the Adventure of Ally so much that we are looking forward to the successor Horizon Forbidden West, which will appear on 18 February. When it comes to the trailers, a Next Gen Graphic Rather expects us with new Much Dino, new gadgets for Ally and a greatly designed open world.

Destiny 2: the witch king

Lots of crisp bosses, for example, but also treasures, secrets, abbreviations and access to new areas.

Something in need of getting used to the horse, which can jump high through the air, as if it had nourished the energy drink supply of colleague Phil. But the battles work up to Ross expressed well. If you can accuse something to the game, then the recycling of animations, sounds and other assets that were used exactly in Dark Souls 3. But hey, that was a good game!

GW2: End of Dragons

Also, for Guild Wars 2 is a new extension in the house in February. There was a concrete release date but not yet. ALEX 2

Danger! Corona year 3.0 The coronavirus will certainly not leave us alone in 2022. What this means for the plans of developers and publishers has shown the last year impressively. Surely it will also come to shifts in the coming months. Keeps the always in mind when you see a release date. Clock is the March mounted, is already the next potential highlight. Alex 2 will be released on 01 March, builds directly on the predecessor from 2017, but wants to further expand strengths such as action, game world and freedom of choice while improving weaknesses such as the old-bound technique and the combat system. However, the preview version from December showed that the piranhas still have a lot of work in front of them if they want to achieve these goals. Babylon's case

On May 24, the first right Next-Gen title from Square Enix appears. Star field

It follows a big jump, from May to November. Namely, Star field should appear on 11.11.22. The new work of Bethesda Game Studios (Skyrim, Fallout 4) is an SCIFI adventure that a great deal of earth is to come as the Elder Scrolls-RPGs and in which the exploration of the endless widths of the universe is the focus. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

We remember the first time we saw Avatar in the cinema in 2009. We were pushed in the seat by the image-resistant scenes and 3D effects. There was no such thing in quality up to date. In December 2022, the successor will finally come to the cinemas, a total of five films are planned (which has been working for some time). So it fits that this year Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora should appear. Especially since the game has been in development for four years.

And the first trailers from 2021 could be seen. Thanks to the snowdrop engine used, Fauna and Flora from Pandora immediately recall the movie. And since we move in the action adventure in the ego perspective through the jungle, we have the optimal view of all the graphics splendor. For this we have many questions about the gameplay, because there were no details from Massive (The Division).

Hogwarts Legacy

Considering how many fantasy enthusiasts have devoured the Harry Potter books and films, it is almost a crime, how little good video games adaptations there is for the enchanting world of Muggers and Mag pent. The first trailer of Hogwarts Legacy from 2020 therefore met a nerve in many fans. That looks like a great game in the Harry Potter Universe!

It does not just wear us after Hogwarts, no, we expect an open-world full of miracles and magic, and with all the miraculous places and details we know from the books and films — only in the 19th century version. We are already looking forward to the Germans and wags, on fantastic animals and all the adventures that are waiting for us in and off the school.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Fun Fact: The best Harry Potter games came from the Lego world. In fact, it almost does not care which franchise gets a video game from Lego-Klötzchen. Mostly the thing is fun and is suitable for great and small thanks to Gags and allusions. And also the previous trailers to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga emphasize that. We expect all the epic moments of the Star Wars Trilogies, pair with varied gameplay, the typical humor and the possibility of Luke, Rey, Obi-Wan, Finn, BB-8, but also Darth Vader to play the Emperor or Kylo Ren.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

The predecessor A Plague Tale: Innocence was one of the most positive surprises of the game year 2019 for us. The developers of Solo created an atmospheric, great staged game that optically impressed and also made a good figure in the action, slaughtering and puzzle gameplay. Especially well, the character drawing of the main characters Alicia and Hugo fell through which we could dock emotionally and always wanted to know how they come out of their precarious location in the end. The direct successor A Plague Tale: Requiem looks more of the same, only improved in all areas (the graphics!) Or extended to new facets (crossbow). That alone would already be enough for a potentially great gaming experience.

Marvel's Midnight Suns

With Marvel superheroes such as Blade, Ghost Rider and Magic in tactical battles of the brand com fall, that's exactly what Marvel's Midnight Suns offer from Fire axis. The developers promise a profound story with a lot of chic staged story sequences as well as relationships between the figures, as in a mass effect or persona. We are still skeptically, as far as the skill system is concerned, which sets up on a card deck, which we previously put together. The random factor of such cover systems can lead to frustration quickly with a tactic RPG.

SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE League

Whether in the end, a full-fledged Diablo expects us to be dependent on many factors, such as long-term motivation or microtransactions.

FINAL FANTASY XVI

According to industry insider Jason Schrader, Final Fantasy XVI has been in development for four years. So it could be quite sure that Square is surprised at the end of 2022 with a release. Especially since new gameplay material was announced for the coming months. But in advance, however, it will not be what, because of the Corona pandemic, it is about half a year behind the schedule. Above all, we are looking forward to how the influence of Naomi Yeshiva (Final Fantasy 14) will affect the project.

Dragon Age 4 & Mass Effect 5 Bioware is currently working on continuations for Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Such great prestige projects need time, before 2023/2024 we probably can not expect a release. There are still much more announced games on our list we are looking forward to. Stand now it would surprise us if these projects can actually be finalized in 2022. We only take the big Bioware projects Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect 5, to which there are hardly any information yet. The direct successor of the mass-effect trilogy should also be in a very early stage of development. At Dragon Age 4, this year could give rise to salvation for the first time — we hope for the E3 in the summer.

Final Fantasy VII Remake — Part 2

Unlike Final Fantasy XVI, a 2022 release in the second part of Final Fantasy VII Remake would surprise us very much. The prestige project is enormously extensive, the pressure big, and so really could start the development only 2020, because you had to publish only Part 1.

Diablo 4 & Overwatch 2
